This book was written by Jody Houser and drawn by Ibrahim Moustafa, and they put together a great issue. The story is set in a future Gotham in which Batman has retired, and has a gloriously flawed protagonist.
The book is well written, the characters are well-rounded, the pacing is great, and the art creates a great supporting atmosphere.
The book has some cameos by some old Batman villains, tying the story into the Batman mythos, but they don’t steal the show. Mother Panic #4 was a really solid comic, and very much worth picking up.
